Every Photographer has go-to models. Models that they can call when they have an idea that no one else wants to try or that will be patient when you are trying out new light's or techniques. Some say muse - some say friend. It's not always any of that. Sometimes it is. It borders on the deepest intimacy. Sometimes it's just the knowledge that for some reason you can make that person look great in front of your lens. For me Luna-Vary was one of those.
