I've known Alli for years now - She is always down to try new things. Instigate them really. Her passion for creating images is infectious. I'd tied Alli before but this was more of an experience for her.

A Night Out With Alli Stark

It started at a punk rock show and declothed quickly. Driving from the show to Alli's house there was an Alley/back yard of some building/loading dock thing and we stop. Aim the car lights and shoot. Homeless guy with cart, taxis doing the slowdown and look, and a dozen cars passed....

It's been a great week shooting. Shot old friends (Narcissa), and made a new one in the wonderful Lea Hart. While shooting Lea she mentioned that she'd like to do a two woman shoot. I thought of Mal Martine  right away. Feminine with an androgynous twist. Dominant through and through but with a hint of softness in the right circumstances I knew she'd be a great mix with Lea Hart. I was right. There was a bit of electricity in the air right away and it continued until the last frame was shot...

I don't shoot many young women. It's not a prejudice. It's not fear. Well maybe it's a little bit of fear. In photography and fetish youth is a bonus usually but for me at my age I prefer to know that the person I'm dealing with knows what they are doing and that they really want to do this. Mal Martine At the Junkyard

there are days that I know exactly what i want to shoot and it doesn't work. The location or the weather don't cooperate. The model doesn't give their best. The gear craps out. Etc. Of those only one kills me and that is the model. In this case the model @mal_martine rocked as usual. The sky did not cooperate. The location was not the one I wanted but it turned out pretty awesome. I didn't have the lens I wanted (i had loaned out my Nikon 24 1.4 to a friend) But what I did have was Mal Martine and some speedlights and I was ready to go.
